Questions
The ones people ask first.
Is the first website really free?
Yes. You describe your business, we build it, and you look at it. You only pay if you want to keep changing it, publish it on your domain, or download the files. We don’t ask for a card to make it.
What counts as a change?
New prices, a new photograph, an extra page, different opening hours, a seasonal menu, a rewritten paragraph. Anything you’d normally ring a designer about.
There is no per-change fee and no monthly allowance. If you ask us twice on a Tuesday, that’s fine.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on every plan. If you already own one, we point it at your site. If you don’t, we’ll get one sorted.
What happens if I want to leave?
You download your files and go. It’s included in every plan, there’s no exit fee, and we don’t hold your domain hostage.
How is it so much cheaper than an agency?
Because your site isn’t built by hand, and it isn’t sitting in a queue behind somebody else’s. The first draft and every change afterwards are made by software, so what normally takes six weeks and an hourly rate takes about a minute.
That’s also why we can say yes to unlimited changes without flinching.
Do you write the words as well?
Yes. You tell us what you do, we write it, and then you tell us what’s wrong with it and we fix it. That’s just another change.
What if I’d rather just own the files?
Buy it outright for a one-off fee. You get the finished files and nothing else — no hosting, no changes, no subscription. Keeping it up to date afterwards is then down to you or your developer.
